Frequently Asked Questions
What happens in a session?
Each session is tailored to your needs. We begin by exploring what you’d like support with and work through practical strategies together. Sessions are relaxed, supportive, and always confidential, providing a safe space to reflect and move forward.
Where do sessions take place?
You can choose between in-person sessions at my Neerabup location or online sessions via Zoom. PT sessions are held at a fully equipped home gym in Carramar. This means you can access support in a way that’s most convenient for you.
How long is each session?
A standard 1:1 session usually runs for 60–90 minutes, but no two sessions are the same – the length often depends on your needs and what comes up in the conversation. Program sessions, such as the 8-Week Mindset Reset or Strong Inside & Out, follow a structured weekly format with consistent appointment times.
How do I pay for my sessions or programs?
Payment is made in advance at the time of booking. For programs, you can pay in full or on a weekly payment plan (in advance). All payments are processed securely online.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Life happens — if you need to reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment may incur a fee. For programs, missed sessions can usually be rescheduled within the same week.
Do you see teens independently, or do parents need to be involved?
For teen sessions, we encourage an initial parent check-in to discuss goals and support needs. After that, sessions are confidential between the teen and coach, with parent updates provided when appropriate.
Do I need to commit to a full program?
No. You can start with a single session to see if it’s the right fit, or jump straight into a structured 8-week program if you’re ready for bigger changes. Once you commit to the 8-week program, you are expected to complete the full 8 weeks.
Is everything I share confidential?
Yes – your privacy and trust are taken very seriously. Sessions are confidential in most circumstances. The only exceptions are when there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, or where disclosure is required by law. These limits will always be explained clearly before you begin coaching/counselling.
